Energiesprong UK
A Perfect Solution
As winners of the 2020 Energiesprong UK Design Competition, Carnego Systems is honoured to be working with Energiesprong, the Dutch net zero energy retrofitting initiative that aims to prevent existing buildings from costing the earth both literally and figuratively.
Competing in partnership with Build Test Solutions and SOAP Retrofit, we were tasked with presenting scalable, standardised and cost cutting solutions for guaranteeing a net zero standard that is also tenant and leaseholder friendly.
As a result our Shimmy solution — “A perfect solution for Energiesprong” according to David Adams of Melius Homes — is being developed in order to assist with the billing, metering and monitoring of three exciting UK developments.
Build Test Solutions
A perfect synergy
As part of our bid to Energiesprong we collaborated with innovative building performance experts Build Test Solutions. They have been developing Smart HTC, a way of measuring how well a retrofit has been implemented.
By integrating Smart HTC with our Shimmy solution we can measure and interpret data in real time to make sure that buildings are delivering as they have been designed.
This allows our customers to stay connected to their properties and in control of their performance.
