Proud winners of Energiesprong UK Design Competition

Carnego Systems were thrilled to be selected by an international panel of experts as winners of the billing, metering, and monitoring solutions category of the Energiesprong UK Design Competition.

Energiesprong had identified that there was a lack of comprehensive infrastructure, or supply chains, to provide the Energiesprong retrofits needed for the UK to meet their 2050 net zero carbon goals. This competition was a step towards changing that.

The brief was to develop scalable, able to be standardised, cost-cutting solutions that would guarantee a long term net zero standard that was both tenant and leaseholder friendly.

We competed in partnership with Build Test Solutions (BTS) and Soap Retrofit.

The Energiesprong UK accelerator day in which the competition was launched brought together an amazing group of innovators operating in the UK retrofit and construction industry. It was an honour to have had the opportunity to partake and collaborate.

The Design Competition is supported by the European Mustbe0 project, funded through the European Regional Development Fund, which is working towards long-term performance guaranteed net zero energy (NZE) retrofits for affordable and desirable apartment buildings in North West Europe.
